About Sole Avaria

Sole Avaria Sole was born and educated in Chile where art was part of the school curriculum. She enjoyed everything that she learned, and dreamt about becoming an artist. When she moved to Canada in 1983, she fell in love with the warmth of the people and the beauty of the open spaces. Every view in each season was a painting. In 2001, everything came together to begin her art career. She joined the Garibaldi Art Club in Maple Ridge BC where she was surrounded by positive influences and received encouragement, advice, and friendship; all important tools in becoming a successful artist. Currently, her work in acrylics and water media reflects her whimsical and positive outlook on life, where she enjoys creating dreamy and cheerful landscapes.
